Day 3

Today was a busy day. The first thing I did this morning was clean out Scooby and Shadow's cages; I let them roam around for exercise....in Shadow's case that was a mistake. He wanted to play hide and seek...for 10 minutes. I was starting to panic when I couldn't catch him and when I could no longer see him I went nuts. Anyhow I found that little fart in the bottom of an old vending machine; how he got in there I'm still trying to figure out! I took Babyboy out and he sobbed all over me and jumped on me aaaahhh!!! It was hard getting back inside without him running after me to play. I learned about rigids today, which is a calcium defeciency problem in puppies when their mother is not given the proper nurtients during prenancy and nursing. It's easy to treat, just splint it. A dog by the name of Rosceo came in today with cancer. He had a tumor on the left side of his neck/face and his skin was infected so much that his ear canal closed up and he had anal glands. His owner was attempting to give him antibiotics, but with the ear canal shut and the tumor growing the side of Rosceo's face busted open. His owner did not have enough money to take him to a cancer specialist, so needless to say she put him down.
