Hey y'all!
The chicken coop/playground only needs the hawk net and the gate to be added. On Friday we tried to throw up a makeshift net at the last second and it was a disaster. Round 2 begins after lunch today. We've rototilled the entire garden and have begun to put down cardboard along where the garden paths will be and around the perimeter in preparation for the dump truck load of woodchips we are receiving tomorrow night. Soon I will return to the woods behind the flag pole to visit the old greenhouse to take some bricks. This time I will come prepared with a sledge hammer and a wheelbarrow, and if it's raining it can wait. Tomorrow morning my three coworkers are taking the AP Stat exam, so I'll finally have some peace and quiet. Can't wait for our field trip to Case Western Reserve University's Squire farm on Thursday morning. We will be taking a look at their bees, and find out how they supplied 10,000 lbs of food to CWRU dining servives last year. Hopefully Friday we will be able to check out Ohio City Farm, Great Lakes Brewery, and West Side Market. Stuart has been researching permaculture and is a human prezi program. His concept maps are beautiful... More to come...
Dueces,
Liam
